12/30/15For today's end of year cheer post I thought I would recap my year a bit by answering some questions for a year end review. This is will be a bit more of personal post, and will help you guys see into my life a little more. It will also be nice to reflect on what I have done and how this year went. I have never done anything like this so I might struggle a bit at times, but again hopefully this can become a yearly thing and over the years it will be fun to look back on each year of my life. Even though this has been a big year in my life, looking back right now it seems kinda boring, so I think working through this process will help me see all that I have done this year. I am just going to be picking and choosing different questions from different sites, so there isn't one list I am following for questions. I think this is a great way to end the year and to help create new resolutions for next year, but seeing the areas to improve.

1) What was the smartest decision you made this year?
only bloggin once a week. Don't get me wrong I love blogging, but it is much more enjoyable not having the pressure of blogging each day, and being able to spend time on posts, and really make things I am proud of.
2) What are you most happy about completing?
The workout challenge this summer when I was doing 200 squats a day, and I got into the best shape of my life. I hope to only improve on this in the upcoming year. Also I somehow made it through my horrible English class with the awful teacher, so that is just amazing and an accomplishment within itself.
3) What was the biggest risk you took?
Changing to a music major in college. Hopefully that is the right path for me.
4) What are you most grateful for this past year?
I am grateful for my friends, especially the ones that I stayed close to after high school. Because I feel as though I have not made many friends in college I appreciate the friends I kept even more.
5) What do you wish you had done more of?
Put myself out there in the first semester of college, meeting more people, and trying to have fun. I also wish I had savored the time in high school because I greatly miss it.
6) What do you wish you had done less of?
Worrying about wha other people think about me, and wasting time doing nothing productive. Also I wish I hadn't had to work on so many charts. That was my big project for the summer and it was awful.
7) Who were 3 people who had the greatest impact on your life last year?
Sheila, Austin, Pam, all people from my small group communication class (as well as my teacher), which even though they were only in my life for a short time they had a major impact on my and how I view myself.
8) Did I suffer illness or injury?
Well I started out the year with bronchitis and otherwise I was pretty healthy for the rest of the year until I went into a deep depression for almost the entirety of fall semester.
9) What decision did you make to become healthier?
I started out the year with my sticker chart, I did a big workout challenge in July, and I payed attention to what I ate for a few months late summer.

22) What was the worst part of this year? What was the lesson learned?
My worst part of the year was actually the start of college, and I learned that everyone's life is different and that your life might not look like others and that you may need to travel a different path than what is expected. There is always time to change and follow the path you feel suits you best.
23) What slowed you down this past year?
Thinking about the past, wishing my life was different, but making no effort to change it, living unsatisfied.
24) I lost . . .

25) I gained . . .
Knowledge of myself and how I need to make improvements to become a happier person.
Well there you go, 25 questions that helped to sum up my last year. This may not have been the most interesting post, but it was really helpful to me, and I encourage others to do it as well, because it can help make you feel better about what you have accomplished as well as experienced this year.
