12/27/15Well with Christmas over, it is time to start focusing on the new year. The rest of these posts in the end of year cheer series will be revolving around the new year. During 2016 I want to really focus on self improvement, and how I can make myself better. I am at a point in my life where things are changing and I need to start molding myself into the person I want to become. You will hear more about this later in my New Year’s resolutions, but today I want to help you maybe form some of your own resolutions by giving you inspiration. I have found many videos that are inspiring to me and that have given me ideas of what I can improve on in the new year. You will notice Ingrid Nilsen and Lavendaire appear more in the this post, and that is because they are two role models for me. Not in the way that I want to become them or live a life exactly like them, but more with their mindset and how they think and reflect on life. I think they give wonderful insight on how you can become the person you want to be.

This first video is about success, something that I am finding a bit more difficult now that I am in college, because I am having to think about long term success and what will make me happy in the long run. I think this is a good starting point for these videos.
Now another great starting point for forming new year's resolutions is this next video about finding your purpose. If you are at a loss for what to have your resolutions be or even where you want to go in life this video can help you discover that.
So another area that I want to focus on in the new year is my morning routine, I will go into it more obviously in my new year's resolution post, but basically in high school I got up really early and didn't have much time for a morning routine, but now I don't go to school until a bit later, so I have a lot of time in the morning that I want to utilize more. This first video is beautifully short, and is just an example of how I would like my mornings to look.
This next video is a bit quiet, but it has a great example for a structured morning routine and providing important components each morning routine should have.
Now this next video is something I want to try and incorporate into my morning routine. It won't be something i start right away, because I have other areas I want to focus on, but it is something I will try later on in the year.
Now this next video is of an idea that I want to carry through into my life. This is a video of someone going through a 48 hour digital detox, and I watched the video multiple times when it first came out because it was entertaining, but also inspiring. I don't necessarily want to do a 48 hour digital detox, although I am not opposed to the idea, but rather I want to try and use technology less. I am not as bad as some considering I don't have a smart phone or most types of social media, but I use it more than I would like to.
Now if stress has been a major issue for you this is the video you should watch. I think everyone could focus a bitt more on becoming less stressed and just taking time to relax.
This last video is for everyone who is creative out there, and it is a list of things creatives need to start doing more of. I definitely learned from this video and I think even people who don't consider themselves creative could learn from this video because it could apply to a lot of different areas of life.
Well I hope this post was helpful in giving you inspiration for goals in the new year. All of these videos have inspired me so much so I felt like I needed to share them so they can inspire you as well.
